This PHP script randomly generates page after page of fake email address. The idea is that a spamming robot will get 'taped' on this page, and collect hundreds if not thousands of fake email address. This in return will poison their email list, bog down their servers, and potentially cost spammers more money.

Another great thing about this is that once a spammer realizes that your site has this spam trap on it, it is very likely that they will no longer crawl your site, thus protecting your data. 

To prevent good bots, like search engines, from falling into this trap, the trap has

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

meta tags that tells good bots not to index the page, and not to follow any links on the page. This generally only affects good bots, because bad bots are likely to ignore the meta tags.
